Legendary Knife Engraving Artist Michiko Kubota Comes to Vancouver, July 10

I'm thrilled to announce that we'll have a very special guest at Knifewear Vancouver on Thursday, July 10: Michiko Kubota-san from Sakai Takayuki! Kubota-san is a world-renowned knife engraving artist who creates one-of-a-kind masterpieces on the faces of Japanese kitchen knives. Check out some incredible examples below.

She will be at Knifewear Vancouver, 4215 Main St., demonstrating her craft and engraving knives for customers. We'll have several of Kubota-san's works of art available for purchase, and you can get your Sakai Takayuki knife engraved with your name in Japanese. We'll see you there!

4-5:30pm Customer Knife Engraving

Engraving is first-come, first-served, one knife per person.
