Sharpening for Kapwa Strong Fund, May 5-11
On Saturday April 26, the Filipino community was shaken by the heartbreaking events at the Lapu Lapu Festival in Vancouver.
May 5th to 11th, 100% of knife sharpening proceeds will go to the Kapwa Strong Fund. This fund was organized by Filipino BC in collaboration with United Way BC. 100% of donations will help provide immediate assistance, counselling, trauma services, and other critical support as the community begins to heal.
Since 2011, Knifewear has donated 50% of sharpening proceeds to charities and communities in need, totalling over $1.5 million to date. Learn more here.
